Hwy 395 - Walker Burger
One of my favorite stops in the Sierra, err, at least while on 395.
Good food, shade when it's hot and decent rest rooms.

Hays Street Cafe, Bridgeport, CA
Best breakfast in the Eastern Sierra!
Across the street in the Walker River Lodge, Hays Street Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch. Well known to riders on that part of Hwy 395.

Tiger Bar in June Lake
If you're touring the eastern Sierra, the June Lake loop is a must see attraction. Another must see is the world famous Tiger Bar in the small village of June Lake which has been serving skiers, fisherman and hikers since 1932.

Olympic Kitchen - Gallup, New Mexico
we had a great meal at the Olympic Kitchen. They offer Italian, Greek and Navajo menu items. We had the Chicken Fettucini and Navajo Lamb burger -- both were excellant. From what we could gather, they have been open for 5 years --hours are 7 am to 10 pm. Just don't stay at the Comfort Inn next door

Nessy's Burgers, I-15 & R-76, Fallbrook, CA
Nessy's Burgers are located in a (very) little trailer (where they have been for years) right off of I-15 & R-76 near Fallbrook, CA just next to the Mobil Station. They have what is one of the best burgers in all of San Diego County. If you're looking for atmosphere here, forget it. There ain't none. Just incredibly good burgers. Just ask any trucker, construction worker, Marine who frequents the area.

RAINBOW OAKS RESTAURANT @ the County line.
Great place to eat, and there are fun roads nearby. The "bone-in" breakfast has some "staying power!" The alligator/boar spare ribs (2 racks) combo is good too. Elk fajitias are tasty. The best weekly special seems to be Wednesday @4pm. It's Prime rib time!

The Old Place-Agoura
The Old place. On Mulholland. Just east of the Rock Store. Old hang out of Steve McQueen. for decades you could only order Steak and or Clams. Im not kidding, Now the son of the originaly owner (a chef) as taken it over and the food is flat out amazing! But the charm of the original hasnt been lost

Mad River Burger Bar HWY 36
HWY 36 and Mad River? Located in the heart of HWY 36. To the east South Fork summit..and to the west?..the single lane section of 36 and Grizzly Creek Redwoods.
What a perfect spot for an excellent Hamburger...picnic tables and out door seating. Great place. Don't be in a hurry..the gals get busy cooking burgers.
Homemade shakes, garlic fries.Cajun fries,etc..even breakfast too!
Huge menu for a place that cooks from an old trailer...check it out!
