Grass Valley, Ca - Cousin Jack's Pasties
Syd (Fishwitch) told me about this place. I tried it and can verify that if you enjoy pasties, you'll really enjoy these. Better cornish pasties than Cornwall. Quite a variety too! Quick service and filling foods - eat in or take with you for later.

Gold Bar, Washington (Hwy2) - Gold Bar Restaurant & Lounge
Most excellent steaks, good home cooking, popular and fine atmosphere. Switched on bartender!!
Next to the Steven's Pass Motel which is an excellent value for $50 / night. Large, clean rooms, pleasant decor. Mine was next to the office and had a living room and bedroom.

Golden Harvest Cafe, Eureka
Their motto: "Herbivore or Carnivore, We Have What You're Looking For"
I've eaten here a few times in my travels, and it's been consistently excellent. Breakfast and lunch only, at the corner of 101 and Allard in Eureka.

Just off I 5 on highway 20 in Williams, Ca. is Granzellas a good place to refresh yourself before riding over through Lake county on your way to Ft Bragg or many other points of interest. Going or coming back, a good place to replenish your self.....Ken

Great Burritos
Organic Taqureia, anyone?
I rode past this place for a couple of years every time I went thru Pt. Arena and never gave it a second look...stupid me! :bigwow :nod
While the menu is not all that extensive (burritos, tacos, quesedillas etc.), all the food is organicaly (sp?) grown and prepared with great care by the family who owns this restaurant. Long a local hanout, I cannot recommend it highly enough...all the folks who went on the Manchester Beach camp with me last year gave it high marks.

Gazo's Grill
Hey Now!
Hwy 1 north of Santa Cruz is a resturant and gas stop, Gazo's Grill.
There is a view of the ocean, lots of bike parking and gas if needed.
Friendly,good looking staff and good food. Some of the staff have moved from Alice's on Skyline Bvld. Hwy 35. You all should check it out.
Ride till you rot.

Giusti's and others, Walnut Grove in the Delta
At its own slough dock and barely hanging on to the levee, Giusti's is an institution that was there since before Al the Wop's speakeasy in Locke.
Good bar, excellent family style menu, wine included with meal. Calamari steak for lunch on Friday or Pasta on Thursdays. Great spot for a delta ride, on Thornton Road between Walnut Grove proper and Thornton at Dead Horse Island. Harvest is busy time with everyone hopping around and getting out of the way of trucks and tomatoes,...

Huge Boigas
This place has huge burgers, the best crispy onion rings and lots of 'em and tasty frostie cones, tell you what! Not cheap though, dropped 10 bucks on the above grub. But goooood!

Great BBQ
Take a ride into downtown Calistoga, Go to Busters BBQ...you won't be disappointed or go away hungry...Well worth the money and the ride !!!!
