Talkin' Burgers
One of my favorite rides for a burger is what I call the "Stoneyford/Sutter Buttes" ride. This is a beautiful ride through the Capay Valley along Hwy. 16 past Cache Creek and then east on Hwy. 20. Take Sites Lodago Rd. through Stoneyford and head north to Elk Creek. East on Hwy. 162 to the city of Willows and lunch at www.thelaststandupbar.com The Last Stand Up is a fun place with great food and awesome prices. If you have a group and call ahead, they will set the back room up...

Thermopolis, Wyoming - Thermopolis Cafe
Well above average cafe with home cooking. Good breakfast, lunch stop. Chicken fried steak and cream gravy while not as good as Red Lodge Cafe, is made from scratch (a rarity). Locals said it was the best food in town. I was happy with it.

Tiger Bar in June Lake
If you're touring the eastern Sierra, the June Lake loop is a must see attraction. Another must see is the world famous Tiger Bar in the small village of June Lake which has been serving skiers, fisherman and hikers since 1932.

The Old place. On Mulholland. Just east of the Rock Store. Old hang out of Steve McQueen. for decades you could only order Steak and or Clams. Im not kidding, Now the son of the originaly owner (a chef) as taken it over and the food is flat out amazing! But the charm of the original hasnt been lost

Tioga Toomey's Whoa Nellie Deli - Lee Vining
I just read about this in my AAA Via magazine. Apparently a great chef set up shop in a gas station mini-mart making affordable, really good food (lobster taquitos, buffalo meatloaf, etc). I can hardly wait to try it out when Tioga pass opens. <op-en, op-en, op-en>

Anyone been? Is this really as good (and weird) as it sounds?

Tommy's
World Famous Chili Burger
On May 15, 1946, a young Tommy Koulax introduced Los Angeles to a hamburger with gusto. Fifty-four years later, L.A.'s love affair with his chili-topped creation is still going strong. Beginning with a ramshackle little stand on the corner of Beverly and Rampart Boulevards in Los Angeles, Tommy has fed an estimated fifty million Southern Californians.

Tony's Seafood - Highway 1 Tomales Bay
Tony's Seafood is about 8 miles north of Point Reyes Station on Highway 1. They are well known for their BBQ'd oysters, and the rest of the menu is excellent as well. I've been going there for about 13 years and have never had a bad meal. The bonus is there are numerous fun rides to get there
They are only open Friday - Sunday from noon until 8 or 9 at night, and they are cash only, no credit cards.

The Chart Room - Crescent City, CA
On the jetty across from the lighthouse. GREAT fish soup, boullibase (sp!) and fish and chips at reasonable prices. Maybe the sealions will "saronade" you as you eat.
Ah, yes... Another place to ride to for lunch! :nod

Tadich Grill
One of SF's oldest restaruants serves up excellent seafood!
Open since 1849, Tadich's Grill in San Francisco truly knows how to prepare seafood. On weekdays the grill is packed and no reservations are taken, so arrive early, unless you don't mind the wait and some serious people watching!

Tom's Place, between Bishop & Mammoth, CA
Nice food in a beautiful location, friendly service
Tried this place on impulse and was pleased with the food, the service, and later received an excellent recommendation to ride up the road to Rock Creek (10,200 ft).
