Great breakfast cafe. After you ride Oroville Quincy Highway or LaPorte Road, you will be ready to fill up!
Very good dark coffee that will have your motor running in no time. Good menu with some variations on the traditional stuff that are really worth trying. :clap :eat :clap
Super attentive pleasant staff. :love :love :love
This place would be jammed 24hrs a day if it was in Sac or SF.

Flournoy Country store Flournoy Calif
The Flournoy Country store just off the road from Corning to Paskenta , the Belly Buster Burger is well worth the 15 mile sidetrip off 5 , or if you're coming the back way out of the Mendocino National forest or from Covelo through Paskenta it's a great stopping place . Don't miss it

Lakeshore Resort Huntington Lake
A great Saturday morning ride from the central valley is Huntington Lake. It's a good 25 degrees cooler than the valley floor and makes for a nice escape from the hot summer weather. The ride is typical high Sierras; few cars, beautiful views, and lots of opportunities to exercise the bike. Once you get up there, take half an hour and enjoy breakfast at the Lakeshore resort. Given the remoteness of the location the food is good and the service is fast for those that would rather be...

Tioga Toomey's Whoa Nellie Deli - Lee Vining
I just read about this in my AAA Via magazine. Apparently a great chef set up shop in a gas station mini-mart making affordable, really good food (lobster taquitos, buffalo meatloaf, etc). I can hardly wait to try it out when Tioga pass opens. <op-en, op-en, op-en>
