Hello Andrew,
I enjoyed your slideshow of Scotland! I am from the WINE country (Napa Valley), 60 miles outside of San Francisco. Your profile mentioned you like wine. You would LOVE it here! Its like France, but with hot air baloons!
For me, I have lived here over 30 years and have attended many highland games here in the area, including the big annual one. I am of scottish/english decent on my dads side, and discovered I have a crest, shield & coat of arms in my last name. Many families do, but I thought it was cool!
I have always wanted to visit Scotland. I will make it there one day. How perfect you put a picture of a highland cattle for yourself. They are not as tall as I thought having seen them at the last highland game I attended in the living history section.
