Sonora Pass got some snow in this passing storm and is temporarily closed. Should reopen within a day. Tioga Pass did get snow also but is still scheduled to open May 11. Glacier Point is open.

Actually a V-Strom 650 is not ideal for frequent two-up riding. But then again neither was your VFR in all honesty, at least not by conventional standards. I owned one. There's a real nice used...

FYI Cedar Grove in Kings Canyon opening delayed to April 26 2013

Previously I reported it would be open April 16, that has changed to April 26.

V-Strom 650.

I've had bikes across the pricing spectrum and never had one with anything close to the smiles per dollar ratio and versatility as my now-sold V-Strom 650.

Thumbs up on the new homepage, I think it looks great. I especially like the accommodation of larger monitors, on which it looks amazing. I have same 30 inch monitor you do.

UPDATE...

the road to Cedar Grove in Kings Canyon National Park will open for day use April 16th. Campgrounds don't open until May 22nd.
