It's not normal Ken.

These bikes are a bit heavier on oil than the average machine but not to that extent.

I recommend you take it back to the dealer for an under-warranty investigation.

It was the last half of June.

Best to go later than earlier in June just in case the snow melt is a bit delayed.

Yes.

The final drive failed on the last one after 17,000 miles and I stopped trusting the bike.
