As far as Northern Florida, you should be fine, Temperature does vary a bit. But there hasn't been may days it cancelled our rides, maybe an average of twice a year.

I have used my Go Pro HD a couple times. I have had it fog up a few times when filming. I had the waterproof case on, I think that was the reason. I always put the camera in the garage to help...
