Highway 1, north of Gorda, south of Big Sur is CLOSED INDEFINITELY as of this post date.
Nacimiento-Ferguson Road is unaffected by this closure.
Another rock slide due the the first significant rains we have just received this weekend and this morning. This occurred at Pitkin's Curve where CalTrans is already in the process of building a brand new bridge to span this area.
"Unofficial" word says this may only a 3-4 day closure but that will depend on the Geology Report.
