Thanks... we have all day for pictures!... well, am's and late pm's are the best... full sun is always the hardest. I did not have my camera with me when I saw that hole... and we were out for a walk... we went back to the camp, got the camera and came back! I am glad that we did...

    Be well...

    Ahhh...

The life of a nomad and his canine companion.

    Welcome to Pashnit Ara.

I am glad you have found this site.
I look forward to following your travels on your blog.

I envy your journey and wish you the best out there.
If/when you get to the bay area and need a place to "put up" for a night or two just drop me a message.
I have room at my place.
It's not in the country, that you are becoming so fond of, but what I lack in open spaces I would be happy to make up for in conversation.
If you have no plans to get into the bay area just let me (us) know when your close.
I would enjoy spending a day or two camping and chatting with you about this adventure you are living.

If I can be of any other assistance, online research, parts - tools - supplies - camping or route suggestions just shout em out.
If I can't come thru for you I will not be surprised if someone else here can and would.

    Don't hesitate to ask.

Enjoy yourself and scratch Spirit behind the ears for me while your at it.

    Best Regards... John

I just sent my dog to the other room! If she sees this I'm done for!

    Thanks for sharing.

    That is funny Sydney...

John... It is "humans" like you that make my Journey surf on smooth waters.
I have always been very much been in touch with myself throughout my life, one reason for taking six months off every year... my Bank account is full of memories and awareness... the lack of the green bills does not really matter too much!... and also filled with friendships, real ones which have filled my consciencness as they have never come through any other ways...
    Thank you for the offer...
Here, sitting in the Desert this morning... drinking my freshly home roasted coffee... with the convenience of anytime access to the Internet... it is a treat to read your post!
I am very familiar with SF and the Bay Area... My son use to live there and I had a Restaurant... and wholesale Bakery... (what a smart move that was!...) west of Santa Rosa... Russian River! That was many moons ago, but have been there many times to spend a lot of quality times with him.
I will be in the City sometime... probably camp outside however...
I am waiting for warmer weather to head a bit north... Right now debating in between Death Valley or around Las Vegas where there is much BLM land...
Will stay in touch... you be well...

Wow!!! I just viewed your blog. What a fantastic adventure you are enjoying. If you are ever in the Fresno area, I'd like to make the same offer as John has made. There is BLM land here as well as national parks.

Thanks Jim... BLM is always good. Hard to believe but people are more considered... no rules... good for the budget. Having power is a must for me to be able to post... and get on the Internet anytime I need to...
Many Armenians there I hear... would be fun to have some of "my" food!!!
    You be well...

If you ever make it to Texas, give me a shout. Be glad to show you around the Hill Country. There is a real nice place down on the river there that I think you would like. The wildflowers all bloom in late March/early April. I will be down there the last week of March again this year if you are interested. It is some beautiful country.
