Not as many pics today, more riding, less sweeping on my part. Out on Highway 58

    ...to Rossi's Driveway.

Hwy 229 was a little damp, but still good fun. Had to turn around and ride it down and back a 2nd time.

Some pics from previous ride to give you an idea why.

Gratuitious shot of the big K bike which had been such a pleasure to ride on this tour.

One year ago, I took this. One of my all time favorites.

Attempting to reshoot the series of photos I took 1 year ago at this spot.- This year- different colors, different sky, different rainfall levels (very dry spring in these parts) will give you a very different photo!

Re: Beautiful. A Pashnit Tour of Coastal California.

Alan & the riders- wide open country here in Coastal Central Cal.

Remember the shot I took up on Nacimiento Rd of blurring the background? Here's the same thing all over again.

    Blurring the riders.

Blurring the bike. I think I like this one much better.

Again... look at the shot from 1 year. Same exact spot, same camera, same weekend even. Amazing difference on the re-shoot- no where near as good as this one from a year ago. Definitely one of my all time favorites- really captures the moment.

Although as soon as we got a few miles further north, the layer above burned off and the sun came out!!

Alan & the riders in the mid-section of Bitterwater Rd. That road in the background (paved to the top of hill) is Annette Road which becomes a ranch road on the other side of the hill.

    John & Bob & Ron

Add this one to my 'strange sights' category. These two pickups were herding this wayward cow back over the fence. Everytime the rebellious cow tried to escape, the pickup blocked its move. Ntm the gaggle of motorcycles lying in wait.

    Finally, Bessie heads back home

Lunch in Paso Robles and then north for me on the 7 hour non-stop ride home. But first up Indian Valley Rd / Peachtree Rd- couple pics from greener days. Pavement is excellent as they chip-sealed it a year ago and most of the loose rock (compared to the ice skating we did a year ago) has been pounded down. Still a lot of rocks flying though, the riders quickly learned to space themselves out or get pinged with rocks!

Than north on Hwy 25. Haven't shot pics of Hwy 25 in awhile, but here's some classic ones to give you a general idea. Phenomenal ride, smooth, curvy, long. BMW K1200S country for sure.

While I split off at Panoche Rd and make my way across to the other side of the state. Panoche Rd is by far a scenic and fun backroad.
