*sigh* Beautiful, just beautiful. Someday.
Tim, great shots as usual.
What happened to me? Well, it's kind of embarrassing. We were reassembling our street tires onto the bikes after a fun trackday at Willow Springs. Mark noticed a collar on the ground, after assembly. We took both his rear wheel and my rear wheel off trying to find where it went. Turns out it went INDIDE the cush carrier ON MY BIKE!!! There were other projects in the garage. Possible it was from that Mini bike over there.
Fast forward to Saratoga... Coffee was great. Once on the road I pulled in behind TimM heading over to Santa Cruz and things started to slowly shake rock and roll. Something was wrong and it wasn't my vitamin box shaking in my rear bag. David Lin saw me checking things while scooting through the beautiful tree lined road.
After determining the problem, Mark, myself and new best friend Alan broke away from the pack and headed to a dealership in Soquel/Santa Cruz. It was organized pretty well. TimM had called ahead, told them we were on the way and to have the part ready. As it turned out, I barely made it to the shop. The rear sprocket was floating big time and the sprocket bolts were wearing a sweet little notch into the swingarm. A few cars got our attention and told us my bike was making a horrible noise "No S$@#! dude!" We roll into All American Honda/Kawi/Suzi where the service guy was waiting with a semi used Black 06 ZX10 to tear down, just to get to the missing wheel part. Insane service. They rolled the bike in like I was at a Neckcar race. I felt like Jeff Gordon (plus 100 lbs). One look at the inside of the swinger from Patrick and he put his tools down, went back to his bench and said "You are not going anywhere on that bike." I took a closer look and started to think "eBay". I was going to need a new Swingarm (sniped one $110) AND wheel (spied one at $200) and... the guy was right. I was toast. The owner of the shop graciously gave me a ride to Saratoga to get my truck as Mark and Alan broke records catching up with the group. ...and you didn't hear numbers like 120 from me. Or did you?
Again a giant thanks to the great guys at:

Great post, Tim! After being away from the forum for some time (I moved from one part of the city to another and didn´t have internet), I´m once again fascinated how cool this forum is! The travel bug has bitten once again!!!
