What are some non-cruiser bikes with an upright riding position?

I've decided that I really hate my SV650. When I was bike shopping I couldn't find a dealership that had the naked model in stock (they were in the process of being phased out and replaced by the Gladius) so I settled for a sport model assuming that I'd get used to the clip-ons and bent over riding position. After a year of riding this thing I've decided that I really don't like it at all.

I should have it completely paid off by March or April at that point I plan on selling it or trading it in. I'd like to get something more upright but don't really like cruisers. I know about the Ninja 650. I hate the Gladius. Other than those two bikes can anyone recommend a bike that has a more upright riding position? I'd prefer something sort of kind of sporty.

Hey, maybe I'll buy your SV!

How about a Bandit? Or do you want something with fairings?? I think they come both ways.

    R1200GS!

The F650GS is also a pretty nice bike and quite a bit smaller than the R12.

The Bandit doesn't look too bad. Either does the FS800ST. Fairing is optional. I don't care either way. My main concern would be not leaning forward when I ride.

An F800ST was the first BMW that I rode and I was really sold with it. The dummy piston and belt make it buttery smooth and the posture is perfect for commuting.

Hey Tyler. Nice to see you posting again. I hope you're doing OK. I've gotten some use out of that Moto Fizz bag you recommended. Good call!

Never really looked at the FZ series... Maybe I should check them out.
