My buddy Byron and I took the Yamahas out to the "Glass Elevator" today, otherwise known as Montezuma Valley Road. This Yeti lives along the way in Ranchita, CA.

This is bmwlloyd in Happy Camp, Ca. on hwy 96 after the Ca. / Or. 2011 gathering. We were headed to Crater Lake via many curvy roads.

And Lloyd took this one of me.

Your Yeti is a lot bigger and scarier than mine! Thanks for posting!

Along I-15 in Baker, CA. The Alien Fresh Jerky Store. Put a dollar in the flying saucer and an alien will peak out the window and tell you to buy his jerky.

Salvation Mountain along Highway 111, Niland, CA. This old guy Leonard Knight built it by hand over the course of about 35 years. It was featured in the movie Into the Wild. Can you tell I love this thread?

Very good, but disturbing movie.....watched it one night while I was still living up in Seattle last year - wow

Salvation Mountain has been featured in quite a few movies, even Huell Howser made it down that way many years back - saw that episode just a few night ago.
Good Ol' Leonard is 90-something and still working on it, but I heard that he was in the hospital not too long ago....
