    Lap of Phoenix

MLK day brought a four day weekend for me and my cohorts. Friday we had 11 bikes rolling together, only 1 thing was missing, my camera. So no pictures of that day. But we did hit Tortilla flat with 11 bikes in and 11 bikes out which I feel is a great day. Afterwards we were sitting around saying how fun this is and we should do it again Monday.

Monday comes around and 2 of us arrive at the usual meeting point. Hmm... so much for the biketilla flying down the freeway. It was me and my usual riding partner Moke. This does a couple things, one I can only worry about myself, and two it lets us get where we have to go that much faster. Two bikes are a lot easier to manuever through traffic than eleven.

Brought two cameras this time, my digital and a digital video recorder. So yes folks once I get this stuff figured out I should have a video for you to watch.

No Pics of Tortilla Flats, have plenty of those, so we took Usery Pass to Bush HWY, then took a detour on Fort McDowell road which isn't fully paved. Afterward was various side streets to avoid the freeways back to the westside of Phoenix.

Forgive the whitewash affect on some of the pics, was shooting pretty much into the sun.
Here are a couple of pics of the Salt River going through Bush HWY.

Also on Bush HWY is Saguaro Lake, one of the many reserviors on the Salt River system. Stopped by for a quick photo op, and were on our way.

After Bush HWY, we headed back into the valley on 87 and took a right into the Fort McDowell Reservation. Fort McDowell Rd like I said earlier isn't paved but it's really nice as the Rio Verde River winds next to road and the Four Peaks loom above.

    Really a nice ride

And here's a horribly crude map, if I wasn't so cheap I'd shell out some cash for decent mapping software. But I'm cheap, so here you go.

Yeah, I'm just making sure it's good and broken in.
I think after the third or fourth oil change it's good to go.
