    Thanks for the info. I will give them a try. A lot closer than Los Banos. I have eaten at the Wool Growers. Excellent food. I was stuffed with just the appetizers.

    Jim have you tried this place?the Santa Fe in Fresno?been there for the bar but not the food.one a these days!http://www.santafebasque.com/

    Sorry about the thread jacking, but it is about Basque food... Yeah Lyle. I was a member of a local HOG chapter that ocassionally met there for their monthly meeting. Excellent food.

    It is so hard to decide between the THICK lamb chops and the THICK pork chops at the Wool Growers in Los Banos-but can't lose either way. The Santa Fe in Fresno is also excellent-more variety in main courses and all of it great. I'm so fat I can hardly get on my bike!

    The Leku-Ona is no more. The place where it once was is now a Mexican Restaurant.

    I miss eating at Wool Growers. Great Food and good pricing. The only bad thing about this place is that it is cash only, I never have cash on me these days. When we are at our other home we like to make our way to Los Banos Wool Growers.
