According to the route planner , it's 230 miles from home , so that should make a nice day out , weather permitting .

I am jealous. Looks like those roads have a lot of run out in case of a mistake negoiating a turn. Those roads look familiar to me. Are they in Scotland?

I went to school in Keswick for 3 years , and love the Lake district .
The only time I've been on these roads , is on the day I got married , when I took the wife [ and our witnesses ] up these passes ..............in our Kia Sedona ................. [ SWMBO spent most of the trip with a book covering her eyes ] ..........

Anytime , you are more than welcome .
I'm meeting my mate about half way there , we will slab it on the Motorway most of the way , before peeling off onto the lovely Lake district roads .

Yeah, we better leave now if we want to meet Steve in time for the ride. We can meet at a Starbux there. Steve, any local Starbux in your area.

My private jet is down for it's annual, otherwise I'd have chucked my Honda in the hold and met you at Gatwick.
