Tunnelton Road and the Devils Backbone Indiana

Here is a video of Tunnelton RD and the a place they call the Devils Backbone. On Microsoft streets and trips it shows a road called the Delils Backbone RD. When I got down there it was not called that. The Devils Backbone is just a road that runs a long a ridge and a pull off. It was in a map book that the HOG puts out.
The video is 205 MB in size and 14:59 minute long.

This vid was awesome -- just like being there with you on the road -- that was so relaxing that I watched it twice

Awesome video, the scenery was great. I grew up in southern Indiana just south of the Bedord area. I think the area has some of the best riding roads in the nation as far a scenic views go. I suggest you try that ride again in the fall when the leaves are changing, beautiful then. Also what cam did you use and how did you mount it?

    Thanks Chevls

Yes around the Bedford area is good riding.
I use a Chasecam bullet cam mounted on a suction cup mount on the windshild.

well Phrenzy I wish it was green here now to. That video was shot in Sept of 2006. We did have a warm day here yesterday but I was not able to ride because I had people here visiting. I hope in a few weeks we will see the green come out. The yards are showing some green in them now. In Fact I should get a lot of riding in this year because I retired on March 1 2008. I was having problems with my video setup last year. It was the RCA jack on my cam so I went to a svideo conection the other day and that works great.

I enjoyed the video very much. A buddy and I are planning to ride it next week.
Have you ever ridden state road 160 between Salem and Charlestown? This is on of my personal favorites.

Re: Tunnelton Road and the Devils Backbone Indiana

Has anyone rode the road between Bloomington and IN 50 called St Rd 446? We are planning a ride to Brown County and are going to take IN 153 to Salem. Then take Tunneltone Rd. to Bedford, but we were not sure what is the best ride to get back toward nashville, IN. Any suggestions? Thanks
