Black Bear Diner again...
I've eaten breakfast only at the Alturas CA, Reno & Sparks NV, and Bend OR locations and found them all to be consistently good, especially their in-house made sausage pattys. Two thumbs up.

Black Bear in Suisun on Hwy 12 is very good......no complaints.

Even though it was farther to ride, I would go to the one in Sonoma on Hwy 12 instead of the one in Rohnert Park.

I've eaten at many of the BBD's, the most recent in Willows, CA. The food is good and the portions large. Its my favorite place to eat. I'm a sucker for the motif.

The only one I've eaten at is in Susanville. Great food.... Plus that pie and ice cream desert is the bomb......

I'm thinking I need a list of all the BBD's and make it a personal quest to
eat at all of 'em! That'd be a great purpose for a ride; a different BBD or two
every weekend of riding.

I had a funny moment at the one in Yreka recently. I was there when something went wrong with a vent in the kitchen and somebody was doing something with onions at the time. My party was seated by the kitchen doorway. Everybody in my section was all teary eyed. We had a good laugh about it.
