"Motorcycle Parking" is in San Francisco. The City of San Francisco has designated parking for motorcycles on just about every other street corner in town. Some places have 3 spaces, others 20. It costs 25 cents per hour ($2.50/day) to park your bike. Cars cost $30/day

They seem to be very motorcycle friendly. We were very worried about parking in town and now we couldn't imagine going to San Francisco and not bringing the bike.

Wow, what a fun trip! There are some great pictures in there. Looks like you were blessed with unusually clear weather on the coast, you're lucky. I also really like your bike, in fact I have the Japanese faux version of that bike in the same color

. It's the quintessential HD IMO, a real classic and born to ride the PCH.

Awsome photos!! That was a neat write up too!!! Now I want to ride to San Fransisco!!!! Never been there on a bike, but way is sounds, it's very biker friendly!!!!!

Thanks Rod! The Road King was a very comfortable and capable ride.

I wish I had had one of those little flag poles for my luggage rack with a little German flag. We saw many of my countrymen touring on rented motorcycles and in RV's and cars. It would have been a great conversation starter.
