Berryessa Knoxville rd

This was my summer ride of Lake Berryessa and I can still remember how hot it was (95 degrees) and how almost every wknd I'm out riding.
I decided to make it into a photostory and just reminisce a lil' of warmer days.

Hi James,

I was out there this last summer... Made the run up to Lower Lake..
When I was stationed out at Travis, we used to come up to the lake all the
time.. Used to dive off of that rock.. also used to climb out under the bridge
and drop from the bridge into the lake... Hey, we were young and stupid..

I just noticed something... I think we have the same boat in both our pix.......

Hey Larry I wouldn't be surprised if those are the same boats, most of the people that goes there are regulars or maybe it's a rental

We just missed each other, your pix was taken on the 15th, mine was taken
on the 16th... Will probably be headed out that way again this summer...
Besides, I need to stop at Pietros in Vacaville... again...

BTW... What road and where is that yummy looking goat trail 3/4 through the photo story?

The road that shadows the entire length of the lake is Berryessa Knoxville rd it continues up to 18 more miles passed the last bridge on
Lake Berryessa. The road name changes to Morgan Valley rd and it's 14 miles long and intersects w/Hwy 29 Lower Lake. So the goat trail is the combination of both roads.

And it's in a lot better shape now, than it was 40 years ago

Cool. I usually turn off at Pope Canyon Rd. when I am out that way. Next time I'll check out the entire length. Thanks!

There are 6 water crossings. Not bad right now but after some more rain

James, Great job. Beautiful area. Someday I need to learn how to put together a show like that. Fun to watch and good music.
