Re: Introductions - Introduce Yourself #2
Hi Todd and Phil,
Yeah, more so cal riders. I love Little T. I ride it on lunch break at times and love to use it as the loop from Santa Clarita, to Big T up to Wrightwood. Looks like we need to coordinate a ride through there. Welcome to the board.

Re: Introductions - Introduce Yourself #2
Hey people. I'm form San Diego but was raised in Tijuana and live there.
I love riding the SD and Cali canyons on my '02R1. I've been riding sportbikes for about five years and more than 100K miles now. (I've had 2 R6s, a Kawi ZR-7s naked touring bike and the R1) Here I am at Azusa last fall. ![]() See you guys on the road. Stay rubber side up. |

Re: Introductions - Introduce Yourself #2
Been riding street bikes for over 30 years now. From old Brits, sport touring, superbikes, and now a ZRX1200. The best all around bike I have owned in a very long time. Just spent the Christmas break doing several modifications, mostly cosmetic and protective stuff. Motorcycles have been and will be my favorite hobby.

Hey y'all, Greetings from from the great state of Georgia! Intermitently, I ride a "44 BSA 500 (British Army surplus). As a more practical everyday ride I am considering something a tad more reliable, to say nothing of better brakes, parts availability... well you get my drift. Looked at Royal Enfield, but not sure I am really trading up! The Ural 750 with driven side car drew second, and third looks, but servicibility? Needs more sober thought.BMW, perhaps the highest refined of all, just a little strong for the budget. Ah yes, there is Triumph. Decidedly cool is the Bonneville; and the Scrambler is almost too cool ! I'm trying, unsuccessfully, to over look Suzi 805, Kaw 900, and Honda Spirit 750. Great machines......but vanilla.Ouch. But I say that in the kindest of ways. I mean am I just settling? Where is the eye popping, the second long look, the "Wow" factor? Oh, oh,oh and then of course; MotoGuzzi. Could fall in love there. What the #@!* happened to Norton? And lastly, daring consideration, nay wistful homage, given HD. Oviously perhaps, I am lookig for a commuting, cruising, able to tour machine; that is reliable, easily maintained, and inexpensive to purchase. The only other requirement is that at its very sight I will long for the road. Not asking too much, I think. Please tell me yor thoughts on my thoughts

Re: Introductions - Introduce yourself here...
Hi,
Yes, new to the site here but not new to riding the backroads and highways. Have several that I ride with and only recently sold my bike. Had an '83 Sportster and sold it to a friends son so he can keep it going strong. Runs like a rabbit. Plan on doing alot of exploring with my partner this year, and finding more hidden spots on the backroads in the mountains. Love to ride backroads alot more than the highways. That is just a way to get somewhere faster and the world just streaks by. Always remember, it does not matter what you ride as long as you ride. Ride safe and have a wonderful day. Officetroll |
