I'm thinking of two sets of the hand warmers. Figuring out where to mount the switch on the Daytona is easy. It has nice spot for them. Any ideas on where to mount the switch on a Nighthawk 650? No plastics anywhere convenient on that bike....

John - I don't have a picture of it, but one of the guys on the tours had taken a switch like you see in the first post, made a little L-bracket out of small piece of sheet metal with a hole in it, mounted the toggle switch to that, then had attached it to his handlebar. Use a hard epoxy to smooth it all over and provide some shock resistance. Maybe it wasn't factory, but it worked for him. That was on a SV650 with no plastics.

Re: Jan '07 GROUP BUY: PAZZO RACING LEVERS & GRIP HEATERS

I definately want a set of the long Pazzo's for my Daytona. I contacted the company this morning for a part number on a set that will fit my old tank of a bike. They were helpful and got back to me right away with a part number that will fit. How do I order?

Re: Jan '07 GROUP BUY: PAZZO RACING LEVERS & GRIP HEATERS

Can anyone give me advice on long verses short levers? I've got a 99 ZRX1100 ELR and want to go with the gold with black adjusters. Is there a big difference between the lengths? Is it ok to go with the short on the brake side and long on the clutch side? I'm ready to buy but need a little more info -

Thanks in advance.

Well, it's all personal preference but I can give you a little bit of info about what I and others have chosen. First off, most people go the other way around. They will put a shorty clutch lever on but keep a long for the brake. I'm not sure, maybe they feel they need the extra finger control for the brake, which in my estimation is just not true.

On my 900, I went with shorties all the way around. They are much shorter than the stock monstrosities, and you'll notice very smooth movement around the bars. The feel of the shorty levers is hard to explain, you'll just have to see for yourself, but after putting them on the 900, I knew that they would be the first thing I put on my next bike.

Well the next bike came a little sooner than I thought. On the 1000, I went with a short clutch and a long brake. Only because the brake system sits deep on the bars and the long lever actually sticks out about the same distance as the shorty clutch lever.
