Hwy 33 to reopen today - Hwy 166 to Ojai

Hwy 33 north of Ojai is set to reopen today. Enjoy the ride to or from Lockwood Valley road. HWY 150 through Ojai & Santa Paula opened up a few weeks ago.

I went on a 5 county poker run this past Sunday sponsored by Ventura Harley which ended with a BBQ lunch at the Santa Barbara Pastascio Company near 33 and 166. Rode 33 back down to Ojai afterwards for the first time this year. Had a excellent time. There are a couple of new stop signs and one lane sections. Quite a few corners had rocks and debris so be careful. The road closed signs are still up even though the road is open. Beware on Lockwood Valley road however a few riders warned me about having to ride thru a couple of stream crossings a foot and a half deep.
