I've been a visual effects artist for the last 11 years or so. It's what you do with a music degree.

Worked at Foundation Imaging on a bunch of kids shows (points if you remember Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles and Max Steel) and the first season of Star Trek Enterprise. Went to Rhythm & Hues for a couple commercials, then to Digital Domain for a few more. I probably spent the most time at Zoic Studios, doing visual effects for Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, and Serenity to start with, Talladega Nights to end with, and a buncha stuff in between.

Now I'm a partner in my own gig, Studio Orb, flying satellites around for NASA/JPL. We're trying to expand out to all of aerospace/defense.

I was a lifer in the Marines driving LAV-25's when I found out that I had Insulin-Dependent Diabetes, the Corps put me in a reserves with the 4 Tank Batallion in SD, I did construction and landscaping to make ends meet. Then I moved to beautiful Santa Barbara following a girl, got a job with the County. I am a very fortunate and I have learned not to take anything for granted. Heck my midlife crisis cost only a few thousand, a co-workers Harley cost $18,000, I got away easy.

Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in Active Release Technique and Egoscue Method. I focus on joint range of motion issues and posture reeducation. I currently have a practice in San Jose, Ca and the name of my business is Vertical Empowerment (add the .com if you want to see more). I work with the San Jose Bicycle Club, Santa Clara Dive Club. I am also involved with one of the bay area professional teams.
I have worn many hats over the years but this one fits best.

Prior to being declared disabled this year, was Technical Writer slash Documentation Specialist slash Web Administrator.

We designed and manufactured alarm and control equipment for (primarily) the phone companies. I was the one that wrote the multi-hundred page technical manuals that went with the systems. I also did a lot of traveling as an instructor teaching classes that were anywhere from three days to two weeks. I also did field installations, turn-ups, and repairs.

Also owned a Boat Propeller repair shop in San Jose called "The Prop Shop". Also worked in Welding and fabrication for many years.
