Calais Port
Port of Calais we are about to board our ferry for Dover met up with some guys who had been in the south of France ,one had bounced his bike off a wall going round a bend to fast lucky to make it back here in one piece.Bike was a bit bent and clothes ripped , going to fast ? yes i was .
We will be onboard and leaving for UK it takes about an hour and a half to cross and clear customs then we have a 350 mile ride North to Yorkshire Once we clear the port we can see Dover in the distance. Views of home UK Last pic for this post I have only used this port twice to leave the Uk it is a bit to far south for me and i would normally go from Newcastle have a party on board sleep all night then leave from Holland next day This trip was June 08 For those who have not followed the post ..
