2009 Dirtbag Challenge
Some of you who were at the Pashnit Fall Gathering at Sopiago Springs last weekend know that I left early (Saturday) so that I could attend the annual Dirtbag Challenge in San Francisco.
I go to enjoy the raucous nature of the show, the wild creations folks come up with and the people (and moto) watching that ensues. This year I even got to join the ride out portion of this event. So I took almost 1000 pictures and had a hard time whittling them down to something I could post up. This turned out to be about 183 pictures requiring 44 posts to the thread. Because of this post size I am not going to re-post this on Pashnit. Instead I will provide a link to my post on SBR. Here it is --> 2009 Dirtbag Challenge Here's a few "teaser" pic's... Hey John....... This pic you posted on the SBR
I believe thats a Bandit 600 frame and powerplant. I'm not sure from the photo what is from Bimota other then the decal on the tank. Ray

Thanks for posting the link. I enjoyed it. It kinda of reminded me of the a few years back when I had a 250 Honda scooter. I met up with a bunch of scooter peeps...and a club in the SF area had an annual ride/meet. Rode all over the the city. With something along the lines of 200 scooters...it was wild. Then it ended up at a bar called the SpeakEasy. They had games etc....
Oh well.....ride safe!
