Basic American food. Pricey, but for their location they're priced well within the boundaries of "normal". The interior is eye catching, with the beam ceilings and the retro decor. You better be hungry because the portions are enormous!! Had breakfast, the French Toast was awesome. I don't even know how to explain it. It isn't just a little square of bread, it is a huge loaf of home made bread that was completely delicious. All the people working there are friendly and quick to accommodate. If we're in the neighborhood, we're definitely stopping by.

The Mountain House roxx! Try the corned beef hash for breakfast. Itz a good local place that has always treated me well. On the way back "down the hill," stop at El Cid for dinner.

I have to agree that Mountain House is one of the best restaurants in town. We go there for dinner often. The portions are more than generous.

Ate here a few months back and it was awesome. Loved the atmosphere and service was super. Food was excellent, will definitely eat there again
