Who HASN'T heard of Pashnit?

I'm always surprised to find out that not every rider hasn't heard of Pashnit. As I type this it is raining hard and it is expected to continue for another day. I went to the gas station to fill up my truck and two guys on Goldwings pull up. I asked where they were going and they said " Ojai", that is a heck of a ride from Sebastopol, in a rain storm no less.

I asked if they had ever heard of Pashnit and the answer was " No". So I pointed to the sticker on my truck and told them to look it up when they got home.

I just assume every street rider knows of Pashnit and am surprised when they haven't.

An aside the wind is blowing hard and if history is reliable my power will soon go out. I live 12 houses from the end of the line. If there is any break in the line I lose my power. The generator is good for 4 hours per tankful. Need to go fill up the 5 gallon can. When the power goes out the gas stations are out also.

The generator runs the well and the heater plus some lights and the refrigerator so we will be golden.

i asked a friend female rider if she was on this site one time.

she kicked me in the shins kinda hard.

sometimes, i think the site name may be mis-interpreted.

I am always surprised as well.

I hope the power holds up on ya! We're gettin pounded in San Rafael too.

Those guys on Goldwings are gonna get hammered till Salinas but it looks dry after that.

Doesn't surprise me. There are very many riders that I run into that don't even know there are motorcycle forums.

Every chance I get I tell people about Pashnit. While riding I've talked to people and pointed out the sticker on my bike. While flying and in airports people have struck up conversations over my Harley shirts and I always tell them about Pashnit and all the great folks we have met thru this site. I'm doing my part to get the word out!

Thanks gang, I appreciate it. When you spend a decade of your life working every day on one thing, it's flattering when others want to share this lifestyle with their fellow riders.

Much of the acclaim of this site was built on simple word of mouth.
