English Lake District trip

I too remember the lakes district. I spent sometime up there a few years back
with my wife. (now ex sadly). we went up there by Transit van but would love to do it
by bike one day. How did you manage the icy roads? you have a great classic in the GS550L. excellent pics.

Thanks Perry, I've heard NZ is pretty spectacular, I'd love to go someday.

The joy of an outfit is icy roads hold no fear, they simply slide around a bit.

Because they have no diff they're better than cars, though I had to sit on the rear seat to get more traction up hills going home, snow was around 5 inches deep. The GS isn't as good as a Ural or Dnepr in snow though, they really are impressive.
