I have really enjoyed this event for the last 3 or 4 years. This year I finally get to spend a few days there. Bought a tent last winter at a yard sale. The last time I slept in a tent was at Ft Ord in 1964.

More folks from outside the Pashnit family are finding out about this,we may be able to prep the track if there is enough interest...a first for the Gathering...Pool will be filled but coolish, big bonfires and movies...ya gotta do this or miss out on the Second Pashnit Mid-Summer Gathering (the very first one was at Big Trees, July 05)

I was all set for July 16. That was my week, including much of the country around there, and to the north, and some passes.
But July 2? I can't go with the holiday weekend, etc.
Well, maybe I'll go to Yosemite later in July.

Well I guess I'll have to skip this one. I have to work on the 2nd and I'm leaving on my cross country vacation on the 5th. Maybe next summer. Ya'll have a great time. I'll be thinking of all the good fun I'll be missing.
