You might try it again. What your saying doesn't make sense. You might as well remove all the 'hard' armor on the elbows, shoulders, and back. I'd want all the protection I could get sliding on asphalt... frozen or not. Granted if you're running skin tight leathers you might have a problem, but that's not the products fault.
