Really cool, Walt and Nancy!! Can't wait to see more pics! It is a very interesting read so far. The dirt bike trip looks like so much fun. And those B&B's really seem a nice place to stay! I wouldn't like the camping, but the idea of riding in that remote area with the gorgeous scenery might make me change my mind!

Great job! Have a wonderful and safe rest of your trip!

What a wonderful blog and cause... and what an amazing adventure too!

Tonight there was another Medallion Pass, as there will be at the end of each dayís ride. Walt has witnessed several of these in the past when he participated in a couple of legs of the Pony Express Ride. The Medallion Pass is an extremely emotional event even when you donít know the riders passing the medallion. Now, after several days, the 15 riders and Brendan Anders, of MotoQuest, are functioning as a team and we are finding out more about their motivations and personal details of their lives. This makes an emotional situation all the more intimate.
I did a Pony Express Ride several years ago and can attest to the emotional nature of the Medallion... I still have mine hanging in my moto-garage!

Thanks Tyler! Our group has raised over $40K so far.

Check out our latest additions for yesterday and today. It surely has been an adventure so far!

For those of you who are checking our blog, hang in there. We are having trouble finding places with enough bandwidth to post pictures.

But.... we are having a great time!!! We had lots of rain today, but made it over the Top of the World Highway just fine - had chicken pot pie in Chicken, AK.

Nancy and Walt,

checked out your blog today. It really seems to be a great adventure, good and bad. Hoping for better weather and you two make it through without problems.

Nancy
We've finally gotten to the end of the trip for our post! We've also moved it to a new address:

Two Weeks on Two Wheels in Alaska

Enjoy!
