Rock Store Ed - RIP

I just received word that Ed Savko - the Ed of Ed and Vern - passed away 4/2/2012.

I'm sure there will be services and a ride of some sort to commemorate his passing, but it's obviously too soon to know what will occur.

I'll miss sitting under the trees solving the world's problems with him. The Rock Store will remain, but it will be different without him there.

He is survived by his wife and son.
He will be missed.

Re: Rock Store Ed - RIP

Very sad news.

I never met him - but I certainly enjoy hanging out at the Rock Store.

Re: Rock Store Ed - RIP

I didn't personally know Ed, but what a legacy! Saw this in the LA Times today.
