The Willow Hotel Jamestown California
Went out on a little dual sport ride on easter sunday.I have a deal with my riding buddy.I work on his bike and he buys the food.Alot of restaurents were closed that day so we got off of the highway and hit Main Street in Jamestown.Cruised at 10 mph on Main and I spotted the hotel and parked on the side by the bar.We went into the restaurent side and were seated fast.I ordered a primerib/french dip sandwich .The beef was moist and served on a french roll with melted cheese and ajus.My buddy ordered a regular hamburger medium well .He said it was the best burger ha had in awhile.If in the area and I am hungry I would eat there again.

Used to be a place across the street called "The Smoke." Mexican cuisine. The garlic soup was to-die-for. Never could get the recipe out of the owner - even though, at the time, I was the principal at the school his kids attended.

Wonder if it is still there...

I like that place too. The top floor burned down in a fire a long, long time ago. They have good steakwiches.

A group of us ate there 1 June and had a fantastic meal. Burgers, Rubens, salads, steak sandwiches...all were wonderful. The drinks were cold and the service and prices were great too. The Willow is on our "always stop" list now!

Server Cris is a riot...be sure to ask for her section!!!
