Re: Riding Through History -NV. Quest to find the Crashed B24 Bomber

I was in Cedarville October 14th. My 2 buddies and I rode the Warners Friday, then out to Soldier Meadows and back Saturday. Ate at the Country Hearth Saturday (got food poisoning; puked all night long) We poked around the mountains across the valley and found Bull Canyon on Sunday. Cool trail. Nice technical climb into the mountains.

I would like to explore the Denio area. If you could give any more detail about Bomber Meadow it would be greatly appreciated.

Awesome report - thanks for posting. You have a map image of the area you where in and your routes?

What a great ride! That bulldozer reminds me of the one at Panamint City... "Ran When Parked"

Re: Riding Through History -NV. Quest to find the Crashed B24 Bomber

Cut this stuff out! Just when I get myself completely convinced all I want to do is comfortably ride in to Bodie or see the crash sites in the Mojave, some clown comes along and posts a RR like this and I start re-evaluating my desires and parameters for off-road travel. Damn you eyes!

Epic write up.

I could stare at those pictures of the wide open Nevada desert for hours.

Thanks for sharing (even though you wrote it 6 months ago)
