Re: What was your first bike?
[quote=Helmetdance;380849... not sure yet. Then there are the Victorys too (thanks for reminding me Fishy!). Ah so many bikes, so little time.[/QUOTE]
Mark -- If you've not yet ridden a victory -- DO SO! They have a lot going for them. Syd talked me into taking one out last year. If I wasn't retired, and if I didn't already have my wing, and if I didn't already have way to many places to put the money I do have I'd have bought one! Oh yeah, my first bike was a Honda 90 (cub?? Don't recall) that my future brother in law and I bought together. Don't recall how we made the sharing thing work but it was in my freshman year at SJSU.... Cheers!

Re: What was your first bike?
1972 Yamaha DT100. My older brother and I shared it - taking turns. I was 11 and it was way too big for me. It would foul plugs all the time. Thank goodness for the tool kit we'd stashed under the seat where the battery should have been. It broke down at least once every outing.
Still it was better than no bike.

2001 Shadow Spirit 1100 bought in 2003. I came to riding late, but think I'm making up for it...
