Thanks everyone for the BD wishes (including Dan & Matt ).
Having this "extended family" has been an extra blessing in my life, and I always have someone to ride with....I just never know who it will be next


Haven't clocked a lot o' miles lately, mostly due to financial reasons

Dragged the RT out of the garage to tag along with Walt for a private lesson he had today.
I told Nancy "you know when your bike hasn't been ridden in a while when you can smell the dust burning off your exhaust...."

Not a big mileage day but it was fun to hit Azusa Canyon, Crystal Lake, E Fork Rd., and Glendora Mtn Road, if only to work the kinks out some.

The high point of the day was when we stopped for coffee at the Jack-in-the-Box at the base of Azusa Canyon this morning, while waiting for the client to arrive.
Still wearing most of my ATGATT, I walked inside to order my coffee.
The very young dingbat behind the counter looked me in the eyes, and with a straight face asked:
"Why are you wearing all that stuff.....are you going fishing ??"

With all the moto-folk that must stop at that place I get a question like that ??
And this is the next generation that will take over the business world ??


Suddenly I feel a lot older than 59..............
