Looking for light off-roading near Ventura, CA
Looking for a place to give my Ulysses a first time try in the dirt. Preferably near the 33 and Lockwood Valley Rd area. Looks like there might be some possibilities on the maps but first hand advice would great.

The only place I know around there (not too much experience in the area though) would be Hungry Valley off-road recreation area up the I-5. There you'll get the full gamut of off-road, so you can work yourself up as desired/needed.

Try Quattel Cyn Road off the 33 by Ventucopa. It goes up to Pine Mountain.....I road it in my Tiger 1050 with street tires.......If i could do it????

Try Soda Lake Road. Very easy. I do it on an R1200GS with Tourances and have not had a problem. Same with Elkhorn Rd.
