JC, I've just finished reading your completed report and thoroughly enjoyed it. You have just mapped out our itinerary for the next time we come to the USA!

That's great! And that's one of the reasons I put so much effort into the ride report. It took me longer to edit and post all those photos than the ten days that we were on the road.

But one of the reasons I do it is so that others don't waste their time going routes that really don't excite or just really aren't worth the precious, valuable little time that most of us have to spend out there.

I had help......my brother lives in Colorado and he and his wife both ride dual sports......he's the one that laid out the Colorado roads for me. He's rode them all and they've climbed all the peaks over 12,000 feet.

By the way, you'll want to make reservations way early (six months) in both Monument Valley as well as the small popular areas of Colorado (Lake City, Creede, Telluride, Silverton or Ouray) as they're all booked up 90 days out and there isn't much selection at 120 days out, if you're riding with a group where you need multiple rooms.

If I can help in any way, please just let me know. I actually have the routes, miles and travel time saved on a word document if you'd like......just let me know.
