Just for fun I was driving a little bit along Hwy 95 in Nevada this Saturday/Sunday.
Well... Don't expect fun views, exactly. Me thinks the whole Iron Butt achievement is more of conquering the mind than the road. Get one of those Camel backpacks for water/hydration, good sun glasses, key in some good music and then survive the 1000 miles of endless desert views. |

Granted the views are empty, but interesting nevertheless. Change of scenery always makes you appreciate where you choose to live. I see beauty in the endless ranges.
Any certified ride is mostly mental. Anybody can ride XXXX miles once you convince yourself you can. "It's the rider, not the machine" |
