2012 Gathering?

Sorry gang, the Pashnit Gathering as an event has been retired.

The last one we put on was in 2010 and just a couple people showed up. Not enough to support the event and the $$$ operating cost. Tim also has begun to do fun private events at his campground too.

In my 10,000 mile/yr travel schedule, it's been replaced with the 1000MileDay.com Iron Butt Rally. Not for everyone, but quite a few have signed up & I can't wait to ride off to Utah an back just for lunch. With three young kids and wife that also works full time, I think that's about all I can handle. Just today I was asked if I'd be bike tester on a multi-state multi-day multi-bike test ride for an eZine. Can't. A month on the road is my limit.

The Pashnit Touring Co is rapidly headed into its 10th year already. 10 years! So if you need that social aspect, some say its become its own motorcycle club due to the super-high return rate (~80%). I still remember the day I posted up on BARF, 'I'm going to start a touring co' back in 2003.

We also have the Pashnit Girly Ride too organized here for our female members which we all have watched grow through the years into something very special and unique.

I have some friends bringing their Toy Hauler & Vic up from San Diego for this. I'm gonna meet them Camping at Camp Richardson(work pending????) I'm not signing up for the event cuz of $$$ but it sounds fun & will tag along on the road stuff. Guess I should start another thread.

Sorry the Annual Pashnit Campout is a thing of the past but totally understand. We won't hold it against ya tho Tim LOLOL

Post up info how to put together a private event. I'm sure there are folks that would still be interested in doing that.
