Titlow Hill - South Fork Mountain Help

For the past few years I have been wanting to ride this route and I'm making plans for our group to ride it later this summer. I'm trying to plan this road into a multi-day trip. I would like to start in Redding and finish in Gaberville.

I would like to know if this google map represents the right route from 299 to 36. I found one other post that linked to a map that follows the route I have here but the description on the page for these roads indicates that map applications can't route you thru. I don't know when was the last time the page was updated though.

Here's the link to the route I've mapped out.

You're a little bit off there in the north.

Here's the correct route. You'll see the correct route once you're on it. Just stay on the "main" (paved) road and you can't go wrong.

Everything you ever wanted to know. And then some. Pics, descriptions, maps, go to where next, interactive maps, satellite maps, etc, etc

Thanks. I just removed some of those "via" points at the North end of the route and it looks like I got my route to match yours.

Google Map version 2

I read elsewhere that if we stick to the pavement we'll be fine. Still, I like to map it out.

Thanks Tim. It was your writeup that led me to this road in the first place. Thanks for putting this site together and keeping it going for all of these years.

A couple years ago we ran across you're path in the parking lot at the Willow Creek Museum. You we're leading a tour and my friends and I were on our annual ride. We both stopped there to stretch our legs and take photos of the Bigfoot statue.

You had probably just finished riding Titlow Hill / South Fork Mountain or you were about to ride it.
