Re: Back on a Bike

+1 on Stephen's hopes for pictures, and congrats on your continued recovery & return to the road! I've been off my bike until recently for similar reasons - no collisions, but treatment on top of the fibro kept me down for a while. My first ride afterward was short but felt so damn good. It makes me happy to know that someone else is experiencing the same sort of relief

Re: Back on a Bike

Stephen and Molly-

Thank you for your comments. I am so glad to be riding again. I didn't realize how much a part of my life it was until I couldn't. I wasn't sure how my wife and kids would feel about me riding again, but when I broached the subject of getting a new bike, the response was something like "Well, it's about time, we were waiting for you to figure that out!".

As far as pictures, that may have to wait. My D200 has died and after spending a lot of money to try to get it repaired, unsuccessfully, I am now saving for a new camera. I will probably go back to shooting Velvia and scanning it in the interim.
