We had planned to stay here at a camp site,found out they are all back down the road,so we are having lunch and Jumping the Ferry to
the Isle of Skye late afternoon to Ardvasar.

Cal Mac Ferries we call them ,good boats on time .

Visitor centre ,well worth a look

Not our ferry but they do run to some of the Islands

Once again good weather in Scotland ,well worth the visit ,
we are taking a shortcut to the isle of Skye ,saves us riding all the way back to Fort William ,Ferry has arrived and we are going to board .

Off we go to the Isle Of Skye

Some good roads on Skye ,some poor ones as well,lots of gravel on the bends
to watch out for .We are sailing to Ardvasar on the southern tip of Skye
taking the A851 and the A87 North to stay at Uig for the night a place we know well with a campsite and a ---- Pub
People on board are saying it is going to Snow lets wait and see..

Had a good night in the pub,food is fine here ,Good to be back on Skye for a day

Mick and his bike all looking clean .

Tent sorted cheap as chips camping .

Tractor still running fine for now .

Weather turning cold today so we have moved south just in case those people were correct snow !!

We are at Kyleakin now just before the bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh taking no chances we are a long way from home up here snow and bikes dont go together well .Downside we might get snowed in for a few days in a Pub Snow!

Well it is getting a bit cold up here we are moving south from Skye calling in for tea at Harrys Cafe at Kyle

This cafe is just before the Skye road bridge ,nice and quiet no parking fees.

That sign is for real.We were talking to a local police man
and he told us snow was coming from the North West ,right where we are .
So we have fulled up ready for a non stop ride to Blair Athol for the night via Fort William (fast)

Tent's were pitched and we were off th the Blair Athol Hotel

After a good night in the pub with a blazing fire (gas) effect all dryed out , we woke to a dull damp day ,so we loaded up filled with gas and made a run for home via Edinburgh and down the East Coast through Berwick down the A1 to Teesside , it was wet all the way and the next couple of days it did Snow heavy Just as well we left or we would have been stuck in a Pub for a day or two untill the roads opened ,

Not having long at home we started on our next trip to the Isle of Man

Price of petrol has dropped a little now £1-28 pocal to me .Middlesbrough ..
