RT demolition and new clutch
The old RT needs a new clutch before I can sell it, so again it was wrenching at Dan's C-Ranch. The Buell Blast of my daughter had some issues, too, mainly poor running under power (idling was just fine ). To get both bikes up to Dan, he came down to Belmont, parked his bike here and rode the Buell to Los Gatos, via Skyline and Alice's ( for breakfast ). At Alice's, we met with Roxanne, who got some lights done on her k-bike. A clutch job on the RT is kinda crazy, you have to take half the bike apart. They need about 10 hours at the dealer for that, for us, it doing it for the first time, it would take much longer ...
Today was demolition day, taking all the goodies off ( for use on the new RT ) and start dismantling ... RT and Buell Blast, ready to go Dan rolling in Dan and his ' new ' bike. I think that poor thing was never chased that quick around corners But it was fun, apparently Scramble with chorizo, no cheese, sourdough and fruit instead hash browns. Yummy. Roxanne and Dan Dan in his small backyard, showing the work he did in the couple last days I have not the slightest idea what I'm doing here, as usual ... Oh, yes, and a new battery, as well Let the wrenching begin ... On the lift Everything is good ...
