Summer 2012, Alps, Dolomites, Amazing

This summer I finally did what I’ve been dreaming about since I was 18. Motorcycle ride through the Alps. Even though I had some very high expectations it was even more awesome than I had imagined.

This video montages is the distillation of 14 days, 5 countries 4200 still pictures (that the wife took from the back of the bike) and about 2 hours of go-pro video. All in the Alps of Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Germany.

Went with one other couple. rented an R1200RT and a K1600GTlL we took the GTL back after 1 week and traded it for a 1600GT. (got tired of the sound of scraping foot pegs and other hard parts)

Great pics and footage. That oncoming bus looked a little too close for comfort! I will forward this to my accountant who is planning a trip like this.

Actually that bus wasn't nearly as close as when you come upon one in one of those hairpins.
Here is another clip for those that don't share my taste in early 90s music. This one also has more scenery and people pics. There is a little re-use in the early part but some new pics and go-pro footage as well.
