Hello, Fellow Members!

Please take time to read our request below and if you or your members want to help or your club make a group project to help us then that would be great if not please pass it on to someone else who might be interested! I am writing to tell you about our project, a couple of friends and myself are building a mid-engine Volkswagen trike for a friend of ours who’s Vietnam war related injuries will not let him ride a regular motorcycle anymore. Due to medical bills for his wife he sold his Harley a couple of years ago and they are living on a very tight budget. He always shows up and helps out at rallies
and bike shows. So my friends and I who are also over 60 and vets have been gathering parts everywhere from people who have something they want to donate to the project. We have a 1600 Volkswagen engine that we pooled together and bought plus a 1967 VW transaxle that has been converted to disc brakes that a guy gave us. What I’m contacting you and your group about is we need some used Motorcycle parts to finish the bike. (Click on information link below) These parts are very important to the build and our funds have run out as far as buying any other items. I’m writing to see if any of you group may have some of these used parts sitting in their garage that they would like to donate to the project. Scratches, scuffs, road rash, dents are all fine as long as the parts are usable! If you think you mite have any of these parts sitting around and want to help us out then please contact me with information.
