Re: Getting ready for the great adventure
Sounds great. Glad it was better than expected and you made it home safe.
Now, what is next?

Re: Getting ready for the great adventure
You know its quite funny.. After 79 days on the road, you'd think I would be ready to relax and just sit around, but, its the opposite. I can't sit still, I have to be doing something. One can only do so much yard work. I'm missing the road and the regiment of daily riding.
I saw a post on here about the Balloon Festival in New Mexico.. That sounds intriguing and in October the weather should be perfect, but before that I think I'll take a few motocamping fishin trips into the Eastern Sierra's perhaps Rock Creek Lake or Ebbetts pass area. All I know is my body and mind are hooked on the trips. |

Tim,
I just finished reading your thread and your website on your trip around the country; all I can say is.......WOW! I am currently planning for a Spring 4 Corner Ride starting in San Diego, North to WA, East to ME, South to FL, then back home. |

Years ago I lived in Albaturkey & woke up to see the amazing mass of balloons filling the air. It was amazing.
Reno also has a really big Balloon Festival. It's close to some fantastic riding & camping & fishing!! |
