A Route 66 Thanks
Hi All, olyumabill here. Just wanted to take a minute out and thank all of you that sent good wishs and prayers my way on my 21 day trip down the Mother Road. It was a hard trip for my 86 yr old body, But I made it. Thanks again. Ural friend bill

Re: A Route 66 Thanks
A big congrats from me too Bill, I'm really impressed. Been following you all the way out old RT66. I'll be only 80 yo next month and I'm still on 2 wheels. Rarely go more than about 50 miles from home now rding almost daily but don't go as far. Use to take annual trips to the Smoky Mtns from NE Ohio on my little GS500, 600 miles one way, but can't imagine doing ir now. Hope to be able to still climb on it when I'm 88. Here's a pic of me down in the mtns when I was a kid of only 70. LOL

Re: A Route 66 Thanks
Congrats.. you know there's a special feeling when you finish a long trip. A satisfaction that you tested yourself and came out on top. When you finish a trip like that you end with a lot of joy with only a little regret mixed in, regret that its over.
